- When it comes to small parts like a tranny fitting and a couple c-clamps for my turbo, Race Proven Motors (Mike) has been very helpful getting me these parts.

- I bought pistons and rings from RPM (Mike Lee) and plan on buying an air to air. Mike Lee is always there to answer any tech support questions.

- I also recently made a purchase from Turbotime. He had the best price on what I was looking for.

- Both offered good tech support, good prices, and fast shipping. Both transactions were smooth. I will be making purchases from both of them again.

- PTE was not good to deal with. I know most of us use their products, me included, but calling them directly was useless. I called them many times over the past 2 years trying to get info about a ball bearing turbo. They should have just said no the first time. I was always told "they are a few months away" or "Harry will call you back". I never received a call back.

- I've had good luck with Mike @ RPM. I've only purchased a few things from him and I'm probably not spending enough to keep the lights on but he still takes care of me.

- I've had good luck with Rick @ RKKustoms - although I'm not sure what is going on there anymore. My mom had bought floormats from Rick for me last year and even commented on the service.

- Michael Hood @ Tucker Auto Parts. Not only do his prices kick a$$, he also contributes a lot to the board and answers questions via e-mail. It is nice to ask for a part and not have to describe what a Typhoon is.

- Summit Racing - I bought a sway bar and a couple gauges and I paid $8 in shipping. Maybe some other vendors should follow that example. I have found their prices on certain items to be cheaper through them.

- Brian Green @ STG. That's all I gotta say about that.

Despite being a vendor myself, I do purchase from others here on the board:

- Mike Lee (RPM) - Excellent service, great guy to deal with, and resolves issues promptly if they arise.

- Ron Gregory (APE) - Sometimes hard to get ahold of, but flawless dealings otherwise.

- BG/Todd A. (STG) - Can't praise them enough. Tons of pioneering for our trucks when a financial return was unknown. Excellent products, excellent service, excellent communication, yada, yada, yada.......

FWIW, shipping can be a hassle for a lot of us. Summit, Jegs, etc....ship stuff all the time, thus their rate is incredibly low. I only charge what I am charged for S&H. Sometimes it's less ($4-5), sometimes it's more, but until I can start shipping more thru UPS or Airborne, my rate will be per shipment. Not sure what the other vendors have for shipping, but that's my situation.

All advice/criticism will be used to improve customer service, so please speak up.

Historically Significant
- Mike Lee at RPM: I've ordered parts from Mike a few times and haven't had any problems. He communicated with me when necessary on any delays with shipping or waiting for parts. I will order parts from him again.

- Mike Hood at Tucker Auto Parts: I've ordered from him twice and haven't had any problems either. He seems to have an infinite part number list for anything you need. I will order parts from him again.

- Ron Gregory at A.P.E.: No problems with ordering through Ron's website. I received my order quickly.

- Ray Moore (sells OEM parts off sportmachines website): No problems. Just give him a call, and he'll send you what you need.

- Rob Berger at Berger Laser Services: Ordered "TYPHOON" decals from him and had no problems. Sent me a detailed price sheet w/ all options for ordering that really simplified things. Very good prices, does excellent work, custom work, and timely shipping. I will order from him again.

- AFS Wheels: Sent my order to me quickly with everything packed appropriately. Reasonable prices on wheels and shipping.

- Summit Racing: No problems with any orders.

- Jeg's: No problems with any orders.

- Stylin' Concepts: Gave me the run-around for about two and a half months on some clear corner lenses and clear bumper lenses. Called them more times than I could count and repeatedly got transferred to other customer service reps until I was disconnected. Finally got in touch with someone there who was able to iron things out after I complained.

- Ron Gregory gets a vote from me. Still new to board, but I my intercooler pump showed in 2 days! It may still be sitting on the shelf in the garage, but it show up fast!!!

- I had a good experience with Board member JWaller, John Waller. Although not sure if he qualifies as a "vendor" but his one of the guys out there building trucks and selling parts on the regular. He built an entire truck from me, and has sold my friends good parts in the classified section multiple times. Good guy to deal with.

- McCoy Bought the cheapest motor McCoy Motorsports sells, so far I've got 3 years and 30k on it with no problems. Run's 7.68@90 with a 1.69 60' stock motor except for cam and pistons with a PT54 and 50's

- JWaller built my trans, wife neutral dropped it, he rebuilt it again for FREE minus parts. That's bada$$

- Brian Green sent me one of the very first 50# Ultimate Chips, and has provided great support and advice.

- Andrew Mattei has Datamaster Software and the cable for cheap. Ships out promptly and delivers quality.

- Ray Moore wanted $700 for the passenger side rear corner cladding, and $300 for the passenger side rear wheel arch. These parts have been discontinued, and he's clearly taking advantage of being the ONLY person to get them through. Can't really blame him (supply vs. demand) but I laughed out loud when he quoted me those prices.

- Precision (PTE) has a lot of their turbos on our rides. Their turbos are OK, but they never return phone calls, they make you feel stupid when you call and don't send things out when they promise.

I agree. Would do business with him again.

- Ray's prices are insane and he is taking advantage - but this is America.

- ATR - Awful, atrocious non existent customer service; phone order takers know nothing, lousy communication, dishonest business practices.

- Kenne Bell - lotta guys dislike them - my experience - 100% positive.
honest, no BS, stand up guys - also not big players any more in our market.

- PTE - see atr's customer service report, but good product, knowledge.

- Jeff Scott - master fabricator, sweet product, nothing negative to say here except needs to hire slaves to build more stuff!!

- Baer racing - their shit rocks; typically long wait times.

- Turbo LinkThe good folks who bring us Turbo Link - have yet to see a more concerned, involved vendor then these guys - bent over backwards i'm not kidding here)helping me sort out my problems, which were all ultimately a bad ECM, taken with good humor by the folks at appauto - which was bought out recently, btw, but the important people are still there.

anyone wanna review my performance?
