are you going AWD or 2WD? if 2WD, you may get away with your stock tranny... also two syty cluster brackets...they're gold in color...they're a direct bolt-on but you might need to semi-remove the dash to install them...also the syty gauge bezel is one of a kind...you'll be better off spending more than a week to accomplish this...you'll also need time to tune as you'll be waking it up from the dead...and most importantly, you'll need a scan tool so you don't blow up your typhoon motor...if it contains stock internals, it might be a little weak if it was pinged to hell in a past life...i would run relatively low boost until you iron everything out...i'm sure i'm missing alot of things, but thats all i can think of for now...sounds like a major project that is totally do-able given you have the right parts to do so...buy a beater, take your time and good luck!!

the pump and intercooler are give ins, i mean the little things, i know im missing a bunch of little shit..

i was told the cluster bolted right up to any s10 dash? this isnt true?

also my stock trans is a 4l60e im wondering if theres gonna be a problem with the new harness?

Not sure how your stock fuel lines are routed but I had to run braided line to the motor since my TBI truck had a weak fuel line set up. Replaced stock pump with a syty pump but a Walbro would be better.
Also the sy/tys had a higher stall converter than the stockers.
While motor is accessible check vacuum lines and replace if they are show signs of dry rot. I dug up a vacuum line diagram on this site that was handy for the swap.
Maybe wire the starter at the solonoid before dropping motor in since there is hardly any room. I ran a heavier guage starter wire from the fuse block to the solonoid also.
If you don't have a stock airbox setup you will have to devise some piping for the air cleaner. I used PVC pipe and a K N filter. Tapped the PVC pipe for to tie into the PCV system on the engine. To make room for all of this I got a smaller battery and relocated it lower in the engine compartment.
Hope this helps.

You are also going to need the little pigtail that goes from the back of the cluster to the stock harness.

shoot me an e-mail and i'll send you an entire check list

Forged or hyperuetitic pistons?

Nodular or 4 bolt caps?

Of course it will run without the above, just not sure for how long.

Downpipe exhaust?

Mike im in S.W. Philly..
Marborosyclone i have an entire behind the dash harness from a sy, and would love to get that checklist :p

JS Manufacturing, i have a cpi L35 engine in my 94 jimmy now im going to have it built.. i was planning on a cast crank, eagle rods, JE pistons & rings, and some mild work to the stock heads. but the engine will be dead last i want to have everything i need before i go at it...im not going to have this turn into one of those 5 year affairs that i end up selling in the end because im tired of it

aside from that, im going all stock untill i get up and running, then ill mod from there 0X

Jeff, as far as the caps i havent decided, im not looking to run sick horsepower, im happy in the mid 12's.. and even then i really dont race much im just looking to leave thee ocasional Vette :D do i really need 4bolts for that? I thought i might be able to get away with the stock mains on there..But im not sure, so if i need a stronger main let me know.

ok, i took Servando's advice and went searchin for a beater..so i begin at work talking to a few shops i deal with..the second call in im talking to this guy and he has a kid working for him that has a 90 s10 blazer 2 door 4wd already lowered roll pan primerd ready for paint ect...but it doesnt stay running needs a fuel filter or pump or somthing im thinking tis kid wants atleast 1500.00 for the truck and im about to pass...so i ask for shits and giggles how much? the manager then says well the kid is looking for the towing expence to get it towed to the shop plus a few hundred  and bam i now have a nice ass s10 4wd for 250.00 dollars

so heres the delima, do i dare go all the way with this and convert to awd??
or do i stick to the original plan and go 2wd i mean my truck is a great daily driver and i really never wanted to rip it apart in the first place but it was doable so..

how much more work is it to do this? can i snag a bravada setup from the yards??will it be the same?

Awd is the way to go , but , you will deffinately need to upgrade that stock tranny to hold up against the torque . 2wd would be easier to get you up and going , then later maybe convert over .
