I pulled a ABS code for a guy the other day & it was 14.I looked on my chart & 14 wasn't listed but i didn't hear the motor cycle when i 1st jumped A TO H.I told him i thought his motor might be gone but i'd ask around & find out.

What do you all think?

Code 14 is normal, if you were to hold down the brake pedal while checking the ABS codes you would a slight different code (I can't remember if it is 13 or 15) Every normally operating ABS will flash this code. It is like getting code 12 from the ECU.

Thanks for the reply Dave.I did try the sports-machine link but already had that info, thanks.

So Dave if 14 is normal & it's the only code that will flash & i don't here the motor cycling ,why is the anti-lock light staying on??

Thanks

Ronnie

I really don't know what to tell you about not hearing the ABS motor do a self test.

Have you tried checking/cleaning the ABS connectors? MAybe resetting the ABS light?

By resetting the light you mean clear the codes?Like take the wire stick it in & pull it out ever 2 seconds thing? That's a hard process form what i hear it requires patience. We'll try cleaning the connectors.

Thanks
Ronnie
