If you blew your propshaft your going to need one anyway. Loops are nice to have so the broken shaft doesnt come through the floorboard after your feet/legs or at the tranny. Kinda like cheap insurance.

I thought I remembered someone saying that Phil's loops didn't quite clear the heavy duty Dynotech shaft. You might want to check into that before you order both items...

Falco, I did not get my propshaft from Brandon. I got it from Gilbert Driveline in NH tele: 603-623-3061 fax: 603-641-8460. Cost was $318.60 shipped to my door. Lead time was less than a week, not bad for a custom driveshaft... In addition to cutting and rewelding the transmission range select lever, you will have to remove the mounting flange on the front differential. Piece of cake with a impact wrench and a 32MM socket :D . Gilbert also provides a yoke to replace the mounting flange. Has zerk fittings so that you can easily lubricate the U joints. No problem with this propshaft whatsoever and I have "vibration tested" it at over 120 MPH  . If you call, ask for Bruce as he is the owner and has made several propshafts for sytys. HTH's

That was me... New style Dynotech aka AL Dustan unit does not clear or allow clearance for phil chiver's front propshaft loop.. That is unless someone else found a way... No way my mechanic or myself could get it installed..

Thanks for the info Mike! Sounds good. I'm running one of the last PS, which came from Brandon. It makes its duty for now (knock, knock, knock), but nice to know that option.
