just by tuning how fast would you venture to say i could get it to?

Let's see, with a tuneup, and stock everything else I was running 13.8, then with a chip, 13.3,

search....do the recommended mods first.

tuneup
cap
rotor
plugs
wires
fuel filter
air filter (drop in K&N always works well)

make sure ic pump is working
upgrade fuel pump
hard wire ic pump to work full time, *(or use a chip that does this)

Search................

actually the first recommended mod is to buy a laptop and some datalogging software like Datamaster, then you can go onto tuning

Available through TTS Power Systems or some of our vendors found here. $200 for the software and cable. You can throw all the parts you want at your truck, but if you're knocking and retarding the timing as a result, you're not making any improvements. Verify operation, ask questions, then tune accordingly.

YOu can get datalogging for less than $200 I think......Lemme go check :D

*edit*......you can get logging for about $110 + laptop.....chipping is a bit more, but not to bad.

*edit number 2*

Thought I might post my sources instead of saying it can be done....I mean what information did I realy convey there?

www.moates.net has a USB-ALDL Adapter, and an ALDL cable. Then $30 for the registerd version of TunerPro from http://www.supportfitness.com/mark/tunerpro/ .....Although you can use Tunerpro for FREE if you want (these guys are doing cool stuff with tunerpro so it's easily worth the $30 IMO.
