What to do?

I need to sell my Ty pretty soon and I have a situation. It currently needs a transmission and an idler arm.

My question is:

Do it fix it and then sell it, or leave it and sell it as-is?

I didn't get any takers at 6500 w/ the shot trans.

I just don't want to go through the trouble of swapping transmissions if is isn't going to help me sell it any faster/get more out of it. What should I ask for it broken/fixed?

I tried dumping my built Ty needing a transmission reinstalled and a new turbo and I couldn't get takers at that price. It all depends on the buyer I guess, but I'd fix it first.

I agree it will depend on buyer and could go either way. I don't think they are that easy to sell anyway as people tend to want to lowball ya. Or the truck is worth more to the owner than to most buyers. Probably goes both ways. I think if it needs a major repair, you are going to get even more low ballers trying to take advantage of the sistuation, espically if you "need" to sell. I'd probably fix, but make sure you do it from someone who knows the trannys so there are no questions remaining about it.

What's the original color of the truck? I'm looking at pic DSC00982.JPG and the passenger kick panel area is white, or looks like it's white. Just wondering.

It was white. I found a Ty-specific trans that I am going to throw in there and then sell it.
