Where to get a bowtie block?

Talked to the engine biulder today and we through away the block. Decided I should just get a bowtie. So now I'm shopping, any suggestions on where to go? Oh, if you're a vendor or know the price someone wants off hand please post it or Email me.

Try mike lee at AR Autosports... www.arautosports.com he can probably get you a used 2 bolt main cap bowtie for around or under $1000... Otherwise try Dal ... Look to spend upwards of $2200- $2900 for a new 4 bolt bowtie..

I just picked up a brand new bowtie 4.3 four bolt mains w/ nodular caps,
from Victor George Oldsmobile in Flint MI. The GM part # 25534333 cost $2075.15, that was the cheapest I have found and they will ship it anywhere. Talk to Ed in parts, they had it in 3 days. The phone # 800-651-6556

Shipped in less than a week. Call and ask for Jeff. He runs the performance counter.

Sorry that you have had bad experiences with Superior...I have used them for a lot of parts as well as a lot of my vette friends. Always truned out good...so far. Were you dealing with Jeff in their performance division?
