Where to start?

I just bought my Syclone from Performin Norman on here it has 28K on the clock and I want to do some modding to it. I'm not familiar with boosted cars since the only fast car I have owned is my 01 WS6 and it's N/A.

What are some of the first mods you guys got done to your trucks? Can you send me in the right direction with some links to good priced websites for our cars.

Congrats on the truck...

www.ttspowersystems.com is a company that makes software referred to as datamaster. This software is extremely helpful, and a must have if your looking to mod your truck. I sell the software and cable setups for these trucks if you need it, just check out my website.

Feel free to give me a call if you want to talk about mods, since theres so many different directions you can go based on what you'd like to reach in terms of goals.

My advice would be to meet with some local owners ASAP, and let them give you some tips on how to work on these trucks, what tools to get, etc.

Norm will see the truck all the time since I live about 3 miles from his house so he'll know if it's not taken care of. As far as what I want to do with the truck I just want to do some basic mods. I was thinking after talking to one of my buddies and his boosted project he suggested, Turbo Timer, Blow Off Valve, External Wastegate and a Boost Controller.

I would do an entire ignition tune up and become familiar with the layout of the engine campartment, as you will be there quite a few times.

Change out the intercooler lines and all the other jazz if it hasn't been done already. after you get all the basics taken care of then you can start to worry about the fancy schmancy stuff
