I know I don't have the most, but I'll say it. Around 135,550? Original engine, never been opened.....as far as I know....

You can probably put umbrela seals to help stop the smoking, the seals are cheap, it's the labor.colinm5 said:

gettin close to 117,000 , but the engine and trans have been rebuilt.

I gots 195750 on mine, original engine no mods, new belts and little stuff but all replacables made with GMC orignal parts and mine runs great no smoke on start and have never had a problem, just gotta take care of them and Typhoon's will last forever. Well hopefully i'll let you know.

My odometer stoppped working at 134k (bad connection at the trans, fixed it with the rebuild) ... best estimate puts my truck just over 150. Motor still ran fine but desperately needed a new turbo and a good tuneup ... but since I had it apart :lol:

I remember Chris (his last name escapes me) had a Sy with 250k+ miles @ Nationals in 1999 and ran a low 13 with that truck (bone stock). Friggin nutz. He started tearing into after NATS, IIRC, but it had a ton-o-miles at that time. Someone chime in and give specifics. Adam? Ian? Bueller?

Met a guy at a local car show (drives an STi) who has a Ty with high 200k or low 300k, can't remember exact figure. Been rebuilt a few times. Currently in pieces. He bought it from his dad when the truck had 180k. Says he's almost never on SyTy.net.

I agree. I have no smoke on startup. Just keep doing tuneups and checking on everything and it will run forever.ChildIntime said:

Well, mine has 163,xxx right now and has a bad rod bearing or two and is getting a new engine, but before that it was bone stock untouched engine, trans had been rebuilt atleast once before, and it has had several other things redone in the past.
