Craig, would you have transportation lined up?
I could sign up our dealership to buy it.
But I don't want to get involved in transporting it.

Not trying to knock the truck, but I would not pay more than 1600 only because its worth is only 4k in my mind. Sure, someone may pay more, but not your average "collector". I'd watch my spending...

How do you figure that? Bumper, bumper support, fender, grill, headlight, radiator, ac condenser, and probably the bumperette. Paint on the bumper/cladding and the fender. Sounds more like $2k max to me.

Don't forget wheels.
Or transportation costs.

I have been waitin for a truck in this sad situation . I have a price in mind and if someone wants it more with deep pockets they can have it . I dont want a mint show truck or a rusted out basket case or pay a fortune so I think this is the sogt for me. we will see what happens.

No problem . I know it may be worth to more than others, but ad an average, 4k is going price in great condition at least in my head.

if i read the car fax right, it has mileage/odometer discrepancies

This is what happens when a company hires HS drop-outs.

I would bet the mileage in 95 was 4316.0, which is consistent with the other readings. Some carfax jokers add the 1/10 mile number as a part of the actual mileage because they don't know any better.

Re: "Wrecked" 33k SGT #253 Hollywood CA

It will have a branded title regardless if it runs or not. The fact that the truck has been deemed a total by the insurance company is what decides that. There are plenty of cars that are totaled that still run.

As far as fixing it goes- You can get the non specific SGT parts cheap if you would be willing to accept the aftermarket parts stigma. If you were to replace them with OEM parts then you would easily be triple the cost. The truck looks to have taken a hit low which could have more hidden damage that isn't visible in the pictures like the crank, crank pulley, or oil pan (there is a visible oil spot under the truck). That being said I think the truck should be an easy fix and would be an awesome truck for someone once complete. I would love to have it, but my wife would SHOOT me if I bought another vehicle that doesn't carry the entire family.

i went back and looked at it and looks like you are correct, looks relatively accurate as you look at mileage acquired between registration dates. idk
