It looks nice in the pictures, but I would go see it in person. If possible I would do a compression test, see that the tranny shifts firm. If these items are ok, and minimal rust, Go for it!

I have seen it in person. Looks good inside and out. The bed has dust on it from the factory I'm sure. The only problem is the rough idle and running. So I take the chance on the burnt wire being the problem?

Re: WWsy/ty.netD?

sytys have crappy idle from the factory.. so i'd say the chances it being from a burnt plug is pretty good.. I'd test drive it and check for rust and do a compression test.

I couldn't spot a speck of rust on the truck. And like I said it's a buy as is. Whatever I find out after the sell is my problem.

Only reason I don't pass this up is because not too many Sy's are in my area...or at least for sale.

It looks really clean and other than the wheels apears to be stock, so as long as it runs decent like you say, I would say go for it.

Yeah useally is that way when your buying used.. I'd say look around and post up on here to see if there are anybody in your area with Datamaster.. see if they could meet up with you and run dm on the truck to see if there are any real issues internally lurking.. if not then you know you have to just wait and see what suprises you may or may not have :)

Yeah all stock except wheels and a new exh. Decent = I can drive it home. But after that I'll have to break it down and do some tuning. I guess have you guys if I need help. ;)

DataMaster? Checks more than codes I assume.

I was going to go with $8500 since he wanted $9500 until "the hog" bid it up to $8800. I told him I can show up with cash tomorrow...He seems like a really nice guy and is giving me a chance to buy it before the end of the auction so I don't wanna piss him off.

i like the title. very creative. id at least try to see it in person before you commit to purchase. pictures are taken to show you the best of what is being sold.

I've saw it last Thursday. It looks great in person...except I don't care for the wheels. The only trouble is the rough idle. And Ihope it can be fixed easily because I'm buying it today.

Re: WWsy/ty.netD?

Picking it up Sunday afternoon. Gonna have plugs and wires ready to go when I get home too. Suggestions? I see NGK got some good reviews here.

Yeah UR6's are pretty common among others, Taylor wires ( you can get Red, umm yeah ), cap, rotor (standard issue parts house), other than that just like any other vehical should change all the fluids. Going with a 160* T-stat is pretty common to help keep it cool.
