Re: New Syclone owner in the UK
Hi Marcus / Bezerk,
I knew Russ Bland back in the day when he had his syclone.
He used to love embarrasing expensive sports cars and Imprezas off the lights.
I was impressed with his SPA guages and Aquamist setup.
Last I heard he had started to tire of all the...
Re: just bought another truck with pics
Good looking truck - I like the colour although pearlescent is hard to fix scratches etc
but if you intend to just use it as a base for a repaint then its fine.
Do you intend to fix those holes in the instrument surround?
I know there are some products...
AnotherUK mag article from my extensive collection for your enjoyment.
This is Fast Car March 1993 Pages 90,91,92 (spooky)
This one is particularly amusing.
Check out what they say near the end about the maintenance aspect of these vehicles:rotf:
OK Peeps here's an article from a UK mag published in June 1992 FYI - Enjoy!
Hope you can read the disjointed pages - I only have an A4 scanner:roll:
I do not believe this is listed in the sportmachines magazine rack web page.

Re: Hello from across the pond
Looks just like mine apart from wheels:lol:
Black painted cowl is unusual and presumably lack of door decals is due to repaint?
Nice looking truck though - 93 model? (no door handle surrounds)
Re: Hello from acroos the pond
Re: Hello from acroos the pond
Difficult to say with any certainty how many Typhoons (and Syclones) exist in the UK.
Probably the only real way of knowing is if someone had a contact at the DVLA.
Bauer Millet in Birmingham sold a few new but most have been...
Re: Hello from acroos the pond
Re: Hello from acroos the pond
Some UK based syty's have indicator repeaters (blinkers) fitted in the fenders.
I guess either on import or at annual inspection (MOT) it has been decided that they are required.
I dont have them and would not want them...
Re: when good springs go bad...
Hi Daron,
Shame about the spring failure -- I was considering a set of those.
I installed a set of Belltech monoleafs on a s10 blazer I had before the Typhoon.
3" drop, lighter than stock and performed really well
The current trend does seem to be coils and...
