Re: L33 swap The engine is going to sit a little higher than the 4.3 and therefore you will need to bend back that trans/firewall lip and a spot back in the trans tunnel where the transfer case touches the tunnel.

Re: h3 alpha oil pan I am using the H3 alpha pan and DD mounts. I have the trans in the stock location and have to slot the DD mounts a little more to get them to fit. It appears like the DD mounts are made to fit with an engine an inch or so forward. Picking up the mounts today.

Re: Weird harness question Thanks for the help on this, I ended up getting it all out and keeping the original harness mostly intact. I was then able to go to a yard and get the engine harness portion from a Jimmy.

Re: Weird harness question I was working on pulling the engine out and have been gutting out the complete engine compartment, but previously I did a bunch of rewiring and didn't like the layout of the harness and was considering having a fuse block in the engine bay like more modern vehicles...
