Hi guys,
I'm a newcommer to you but my buddy Jim Longwith told me about your event and gave me an invite so we're planning to come from PA. It will be the first chance I've had to run my new syclone so I'm really looking forward to it. 10 second truck with a full stokes motor. Also I'm trying to talk my buddy who's coming with me into bringing his 8 second GN. we're looking forward to having fun and meeting new people.
Anyway, I see you were wanting someone to take pictures. Voila!!! I volunteer if you can't find anyone else. for about 15 years I ran one of the biggest custom commercial photo labs on the east coast and have been a photographer for over 25 years. I've had stuff published in a couple of car magazines and I would be happy to shoot some shots for whoever wants their sy or ty done and I'd be glad to do it for no charge, all I ask is that you give me something to pay for expenses. film and prints. Let me know if there is any interest and I will bring some equiptment. You might want to check into having somebody show up with a good digital setup that can show instantaneous results, but I'll be glad to shoot a few shots for people, and my stuff would be of a quality to go big sized if someone wants. I'll also give out the negatives out so people can get done whatever they want whenever they want

Nope haven't f'ed anything up just haven't done any work on it to get it ready. I definantly will be there in something.
I don't know if anyone is interested, but Jim Longwith suggested that I make this post so at least people would be aware. I'm pulling my sy down on the 30th, and have quite a few parts that I could bring if anyone is interested.

good used battery used stock torque converter
stock injectors

Oh man, it's getting close and my engine is not back together yet. This week was waisted waiting on a dip stick Need the dip stick in order to drill a hole in the Bowtie block before assembly. Still a chance I can have it bach by the 29th and have it at the strip on the 30th.
Should be nice. Adding a set of Vortec heads from John Waller that were also extensively ported. The block has been o-ringed to go with copper head gaskets.
If the Ty is not ready, I still try to be there with something to run, probably either the vette or the CBR1100XX.

Les is having back surgery this morning but he's determined to make it. Wish him luck. He's hoping for a rain date to allow some recovery time. I could use a raind date to give me a few more days to get mine back together but there's still a slim chance I can be ready by this weekend.

Well I might not be there in the Sy either, it looks like it may be sold. Guess I'm down to the TTA.
Les can't walk. Les is in excrutiating pain. Les was "supposed" to be is surgery as we talk. but yesterday Les got his new tranny in...so...Les told doctor he had other plans and wouldn't be home till next sunday and would check into the hospital next sunday night.

you'll be able to tell who I am by looking for the limping guy carrying the folding chair everywhere.
