Well.................it's looking like my truck will make it to the event after all :tup:

For those of you that don't know, Mark and Nolan (Campbell Automotive) built me a built motor for the Ty, it was planned to be a winter project, but time got the best of me and I didn't start pulling parts till sometime in March, anyways......the truck is almost ready to fire up, thanks to Tony and Nolan (they are trulely the brains behind this)...............I can take things apart, but putting them back together is a TOTALLY differnt story!!!

Here's a couple pics from tonight, she's back on the ground, it was on jack stand for as long as I can remember :rotf: What's new in the SyTy world.

All it needs now is a hood and a TUNE, Nolan and his laptop are coming in a couple days, he's gotta built a 65lbs injector tune from scratch, limp it back to his place and tune/drive/tune/drive/tune/drive/tune/drive.......................to get the drivability stuff done then, later comes the high boost tuning! Did I mention I love Nolan

So......I won't be racing it yet.......

BTW, the project cosisted of a Built Motor, Ported Vortecs, Injectors, Turbo, Torque Converter (Tranny Please Hold Up!!!!!!!)

FWIW, it's pretty damn close to the same combo Mark had in his Typhoon, on the engine dyno his made 610hp and 715ft/ibs @ 25psi if I remember correctly.

My truck may never see 25psi I don't want to break it

No one puts on an event like you Cam!

I'm one of the downed trucks this year, but I'm still coming up on Saturday for the races and the after-track party. I got the Bimmer so it will still be a fun drive!
