The flex plate and torque converter have been replaced but the problem still persists.

This truck will be available at the low pricing until I figure out what I am going to do with it.

I talked to a good friend of mine today about all this. My friend is a master tech and been in the industry for 20 years or so. From my description to him about everything the truck is doing he thinks there is internal engine damage at play. A bent rod or something along those lines. There's probably no way to tell without exploritive surgery.

I forgot to update this. I pulled the motor and I'm in the middle of tearing that down to find the cause of all of this.

I did find that the motor has a built botom end. Eagle H beam rods. I don't know the make of the pistons yet. I also don't see anything that screams out as a problem with the bottom end that would cause this out of balance vibration. I intend to pull the motor completely apart and have a machine shop go over everything.

I guess the truck is still for sale. But you are going to need a lot of boxes and a tow truck at this point.

Dave that vibration ended up being an out of balance crankshaft. That bottom end had a gmpp raw forging, forged crank with oversized rod ends. the rods were were out of something other than a 4.3, they were eagle h beams, but had been machined to fit the crank which had a rod end similar to a big block chevy. the pistons were hyperutectic Keith blacks. I ended up selling the truck due to getting divorced shortly after buying it. I sold it to one of the guys who came with me to pick it up. He had problems getting it balanced as well and it is now in the process of getting ls swapped. It should be on the road again in a few months.

Got rebalanced, and re-ran but ended up having another vibration problem and ate the mains. It ended up getting trashed.
