aight. Since I cant get my hands on any black chrome I have been trying different things. Figured I would ask on that since it was basically a dye. Got any suggestions that works really good?

Anything with silicon in it!

Meguiars has a detailer that works very well.

Whats funny is Black Chrome is still made by turtle wax they just can't sell it in the US so its only overseas.
Not sure what was in it but it was definitely petroleum based.

I buffed the hell outa my cladding with some mothers caranuba cleaner wax and it worked beautifully.
Mothers back to black was more a hassle and didnt give a uniform look. The streaks pissed me off to no end.

I have been using tire shine gel for a good bit on it. It actually works really well.

I don't really like silicon based products for plastic. Unfortunatly its the only thing on the market for plastic at this time since dye's seem to be very messy and not work all that great.

Just takem off, send them to me. I'll paintem, send them back. Install and look have it look a hundred times better.

ah thanks Adam. Memorial meet is the next one correct?

Im a autobody tech student right now so I will eventually get around to painting the truck in the next year or so.
