aight. Since I cant get my hands on any black chrome I have been trying different things. Figured I would ask on that since it was basically a dye. Got any suggestions that works really good?
Whats funny is Black Chrome is still made by turtle wax they just can't sell it in the US so its only overseas.
Not sure what was in it but it was definitely petroleum based.
I buffed the hell outa my cladding with some mothers caranuba cleaner wax and it worked beautifully.
Mothers back to black was more a hassle and didnt give a uniform look. The streaks pissed me off to no end.
I have been using tire shine gel for a good bit on it. It actually works really well.
I don't really like silicon based products for plastic. Unfortunatly its the only thing on the market for plastic at this time since dye's seem to be very messy and not work all that great.
