Ok where do i start , when accelerating (pretty hard) and is about to change to second gear the engine stumbles and looses power and hangs on to first gear like it doesn`t whant to change gear ?

Work done so far

It throwed code 45 ,Put in i IAC valve today and that fixed my ruff idle and no more code 45 , put then i throwed code 42 instead

I am running stock chip , 32lbs injectors (brand new) , and had some work done on the heads

i also have set base ignition today

brand new plugs and intake gaskets

What the He** is going on ? solutions ?

Hooked on phonics?

Sorry, I know I am an ass.

But seriously, is this a repeatable occurance? Dose it happen every time? Dose it happen out of boost (i.e. under normal driving). If your not allready using an aftermarket boost gauge (as mentioned above) you need one. Also are you using any type of engine monitoring system? Scan tool, Datamaster and so on.

What do you mean by "had some work done on the tops"?

You might have answered your own question.... doesn't change gear.

A slipping 2-4 band will act just as you describe.... it'll shift fine driving
around, but under throttle it'll slip, and you'll hit the rev limiter.
(Which will make it buck+n+surge)

First things first, though, make sure your TV cable is adjusted properly.

Also, make a couple of half and 3/4 throttle passes, just to see if it shifts.
