Welp. since about everyone on here has posted pics of their truck at one time or another and Ive never posted a pic of my sy in ONE complete piece here it is. Nothing special really and it needs a bath but here it is none the less....

Nice truck. I like the touch of the spring, which came through too. :)

BTW, a pair of mirror from a Ty would make the truck even more handsome... Just an idea.

Yep, testing the new and heavier "link bars" with 15psi launches is how I grenaded the trans... :roll: You can just barely make em out on the pass side in the second pic. Once I rebuild the trans and some issues at work get resolved around June hopefully I will get to Rockingham or Bristol and durby the wee outta it to see if the new and improved ones wont bend.

Ya know.... Im torn on wheather to get rid of the "elephant ear" mirrors. In a way I like em (easy to spot the 5.0 sneaking up behind you on the free way) but in another way they stick out like a sore thumb. I dunno. I might have to procure some ty mirrors, put em on, and see how I like em.

Thanks :D :D ... To be honest I thought it was pretty nasty at the nats. Ms myclone and I got caught in one of the worst rain storms Ive seen in years while towing through WV to Chitown last year which ruined the wash job I did the day before. Ive waxed the truck once since I bought it and that was the day before I left for the 01 nats in GB KS :oops: . It needs a GOOD scrubbing and waxing to say the least. Having a gravel driveway just makes keeping it spotless a losing battle no matter how slow I drive in or out of it.

Looks good Myclone. The hood really makes the truck, it's not too big and not too small.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 10 :)

Get us some more pics? Engine bay, Interrior, bed, etc.

I'd like to judge this truck on a BIGGER SCALE :)

I dunno man.. Its NOT a show truck by any means. It needs a VERY thorough(sp?) cleaning on the outide, under hood, inside, and the front bumper cover lined up for the 10 kabillionth time before I post any detailed pics. Ive kinda neglected it and I should be smacked for doing so.

I'd prolly be more motivated if someone would donate some silver or polished ZR1s to the cause though. :D :D :wink:

I was thinking about doing the Ty mirror but after driving my Ty I going to stick to my Dumbo Ears. I usually back one of my cars into my garage ( shifting the car one spot to the left) and the Ty mirrors make it difficult to do.

Yeah, its the 2" steel Goodmark. I got it new from a guy whos a vendor for syty stuff. ~$480 including shipping to the local trucking terminal if I remember correctly.
