I've been thinking about something similar for quite awhile. You may be my motivation. Looks good Jeff.

No fair, your cheating with a SBC. It too easy to find performance parts :) You need to suffer and be creative like the rest of us

It is easy to do....half the people that look at my truck still think it is a V6 cause it is so burried in there

Re: Project Never Ends

Making progress again.

After the last update Jeremy and I did a leakdown on motor, several bent valves so had to redo heads. Ordered some fancy head gaskets, well they didn't work as planned so had to redo that.

Ordered new pushrods, they didn't work either so had to order them again, got that fixed.

Not the greatest picture from my phone but you get idea. Got the turbo drain lines done last night, started working on some turbo bracing.

Debating about powdercoating valve covers black and cncing in the typhoon logo and truck #, what do you guys think?

I do like the Idea of powdercoating the Valve covers but the ty logo and truck number has been over done. I would rather see the name of the truck or your "JS Design" etched into the covers.

Ok, I guess then I need to come up with a name for it.

Project never Ends just doesn't have that nice ring to it.

So anybody got some name ideas?

Re: Project Never Ends

In between working on a dp for George I made a turbo bracket. CNC mills are nice to have. The rod ends will be tied toghether to support the turbo upwards keeping any stress off the headers.
