(1) do NOT have a drink in the cup holder, HEHE (2) hold brake, revs start to go up, rear wheels start to spin i let go of brake and then put the peddle all the way to floor. I might need to go to syty launch school but holding brake and putting peddle to floor and waiting for boost scares me.

I have learned too not to have the lighter in as well.

From what I have read and how I have done it the few times on my truck:
1. Put in neutral
2. Rev engine and get your brake pedal as low as it will go
3. Put in Drive (after the RPM's have settled down a bit)
4. Keep foot on brake and apply gas to build boost.
5. When ready, let off brake, hit gas, hold on.

Correct? :dunno:

My truck's broken... doesnt matter what the hell you do it wont go any faster than your average s10 blazer 4x4, so being perfect doesnt matter atm...

I'm pretty sure she wants to drive it because she's only on her permit and would drive anything right now! Probably has very little to do with you or your broken engined ty... Lol but hey who am I to tell to not take advantage of the opportunity? Doesn't take much impress girls that young... :rotf:

My fiancee is actualy considering letting me buy my high school sweet heart back (my first ty). For a while I was thinking she was gonna make me choose her or the ty . Now she is gonna let me have two and keep her . I must be having a dream.

However she says when it's fixed she wants to take it to her work (SLP performance parts) and show it off... Women :dunno:

Edit: notice in the 2nd launch said cups are gone from the cup holders. :squint:

2nd launch - is it the same day or a different day? She is wearing different footware and her shirt is different.


I did a boost launch with my wife in the truck once. ONCE. After I stopped, she got out and walked home. We were divorced a short time later.

If she wanted to feel a real launch ---- here ya go! On dry hop flashlight jumped from cup holder onto back seat, and then on boost launch the radar decided it could hold onto the windshield at that g-force.
