I have posted about him giving me some more info without luck and being the NEWB don't want to push too hard. I am happy with the way the truck runs but want to explore some more performance safely.

as long as your not knocking the motors fine, those injectors seems small, but I might be wrong, (I thought stock was 32 lbs) as far as the drive train goes, some guys have run low 12's for long amounts of time with no issues, and sometimes they go out for no reason, I'd say the limit for reliable is mid/high 12's on the stock trans, but you shoudl always expect it to go out, just cause they're weak by nature. When you are boost lauching it, don;t revv it to long stopped, thats where you build all your heat which is the primary killer of the trans. To help it I reccomend a cooler, the biggest you can find. a temp gauge helps too, so you know whats going on. what kinda boost are you running now?

also any time your being hard on it, keep it in D rather than overdrive, somehow that helps, something abotu the way the bands are engauging, I don;t know why exactly, but its what rossler told me, as well as some other shops, so I just believe it.

Good info! I have a B&M trans cooler already. The boost peaks in 2nd gear @ 14psi for about a split second and reaches 10psi in 3rd, don't know about 4th because it is more of an overdrive gear and I have been told not to beat on it.

My 04' GTO is also turbo'd but has heavy duty supporting mods as well- axles, 1 piece D/S, 4l80 trans...
