Wheel options?

I'm looking to get a set of 18s for my Sy. I need 18s to clear my brakes.

Custom wheels are going to run me anywhere from 3500-5000+. Custom wheels are nessary due to the offset difference. I don't want to run spacers due to stress from autoX (I'm paraniod I know).

So question is...Do I shell out the dough or do I go another route?

I was looking at Mosers website and I can get a complete bolt-in 12 bolt for around 2100. Then I could get some c6 vette wheels and be around 3000. I would have an awesome rear end and wheel replacement options would be better if I were to bend one on a pothole.

Opinions?

You don't need to do either, unless you want to blow a ton of money. Weld now has wheels with many different offset options, including different shaped "spokes" for increased brake caliper clearance. :tup:

Looked into Weld but don't like any of the styles. I looked at HRE, Boze, and iforged. They have a lot better styles and options IMO.

I have CCW CLASSICS on my truck 18x12 in the back and 18x10 in the front. They clear my c6 zo6 brakes with iut a problem. Check out sportmachines big stockers they look like stock wheels but Tom can make them in any size and offset u desire he was going to bucks me a 18x12 set for my Sy

I have CCW CLASSICS on my truck 18x10 in the front.

I've considered the super stock wheels still may go that route.

18x10! They rub the control arm at all? What size front tire you running? I plan to run 275/35/18 all the way around. I would love to go as wide as possible up front but I don't want anything to rub.

if i was you i would look into oem bmw wheels or aftermarket wheels for bmw because the majority of them are staggered from the factory and come in alot of different offsets, and many sets can be had for under $1,000. just make sure they are the 5x120.65 pattern.

I run 295 up fronts and 335 outbacks. No it doesn't rub

Why don't you run real Z06 (speedline) wheels? 18x9.5 and 19x12's...they don't rub and the offsets are correct

These wouldn't be a bad buy, and they already have the tire size you wanna run, the wheels may need a refinish from the looks of the pic

That's what I had planned to use only with 18x9.5 all the way around. Then I run into the offset not being right on the rear. Don't really wan to run two different dia. wheels.
