I get "light em up" all the time, so I just do it. Seems I can get them burning pretty good for close to a second before I really start to take off if I let it go with about 15lbs.

I'll probaby lose a little respect from some guys here but might as well be honest, I used to be one of those guys who said "I love those Syclones, cool little trucks with GN motors in 'em" before I bought one.

I get the above a lot but one of the more memorable times was a couple days after I filmed the 2wd burnout vid and still had the front drive shaft out. I passed by a buds house and he happened to be getting the mail so I stopped to chat for a second. Hes a HUGE ford guy and knows I cant "light em up" so he likes to pester me about "that thing cant even spin the tires....etc, etc". Basically just friendly ribbing.
Anyways after we chatted for a second about how his big block fairlane was coming along and how my truck was running we parted ways but before we did he yelled out "light em up" as I was pulling away. So, I stood on the brakes and filled the surrounding area with tire smoke and left ~100ft of 2wd blackmarks.
I heard later he swore Id swapped in a shiftable 4x4 xfer case or something since he coulding figure out how I did a big ol stinkin burnout right in front of him. To this day Ive never said anything and he quit talking about how the POS GMC couldnt even spin the tires.

Yeah I can't even imagine the questions I am going to get when I get one of these trucks. It's insane the questions I get asked already about my Camaro. They ask me if it's an SS and I say no, it's a Z28 and then they kinda look at me with this look like "that's too bad" or they will say "oh" in an unimpressed tone. At a dyno day, I threw down like 5 more hp to the tires than my buddy and we both had the same intake lid and a cutout and he owns an SS. Some kids walked up to me asked what we had laid down and we told them. They then asked me why I took of my SS hood. I was like, "huh?" He thought for sure that there was no way I could be putting more power down than an SS. I get asked about the 5 speed deal all the time because the SS only has the 6 speed apparently along with the "Corvette motor" that I don't have. Anyways.....

I like telling people my suv will smoke em, and then when they ask they don't know/never heard of a Ty! I argued with anew guy at work the other day cuz he's sooo sure his 80's grand prix would kill the Ty.
I just challenege people to GN/Sy/Ty trivia at the bar when they know it all and get free drinks out of it!
