I might be down for this.... a Yankee you say? Yes, as I am more than likely relocating to Orlando in the next month or so. I am going to be there from 2/20 - 2/25 visiting corporate HQ and hopefully hammering out my permanent employment contract and relocation package to Orlando :tup:
I will have to flatbed Sy #11 from Buffalo to Orlando, but once I am down there maybe I can meet up with some of you guys and get some tuning help to get my truck back into the mid 11's :rock:

I had thought about mentioning something for Mem. Day in Orlando or at OSW since it does seem like a central location for most of us Fl guys. I tried to get some of the buick guys and SyTy's out at orlando before, but not alot of sponsors stepped up to come out for the event ( thus increasing the cost of admission for all others)
So if we could do a track rental at OSW or Orlando, that would be awesome. I could start getting the Buick guys rounded up for it .

What made Naples fun is that no one lived there, we all had to shack up in the hotel which basically forced us to hang out together... which is what actually made the whole thing so much fun.

We usually try to find a nice park/beach with plenty of room for all the trucks and have a nice bbq lunch. Then try to go to any carshows we can get.
It'd be killer if we could manage a beach picture. What are the rules with driving on the beach now?

just a thought.....maybe goto like the museum at daytona raceway?
also, this needs to be consider ASAP. Daytona and Memorial Weekend...unless you make hotel reservations early, we can forget about getting a hotel anywhere in the area.

Only time people are in Daytona is for Speedweeks and the 4th of July race. Other than that, the town is usually dead. Hence the name "Shitona" was used by alot of Riddle students.

Only thing for beach driving is that it costs 5 bucks a day to get on and theres a 10mph speed limit. We may have to go a little farther south to be able to drive on because the hurricanes took away alot of sand...but we can definatly get on the beach. I know of a park down in Ponce Inlet we could go to thats on the beach, we'd probably take up most if not all of the parking lot. Don't know about to many car shows right now, but there is a get together of old hot rods and muscle cars about every other week in south daytona and the mall used to have a car show every friday or saturday night but I haven't heard anything about it recently. Anyway I'll look into some more stuff, we should definatly go to winghouse (like hooters only better food and better looking girls). If anyone has any other idea's let me know and I'll look into it.
