Yea I dont see any need to be right on the beach as far as the hotel goes. Besides I think we'd rather have to drive a little bit to get there.
Close proximity to open parking lot (so we can park all together and keep an eye on the trucks)
Pavilions make set up a lot easier.
Grills on location mean we dont have to get or bring any.
Nearby attractions for the family to go check out while us syty nerds are bench racing.
We gonna do this like we usually do?
Friday night is for the early arrivals: usually they can find something to do
Saturday & Sunday: one day at the beach/picinic one day doing something else (car show?)
late Sunday/early monday is usually drive home time

It says the entire property is available so, I was thinking getting onto the infield would be pretty cool. It's probably a long shot, but I'll see what the deal is and let you guys know.

At this point right now, I dont know if I'm going to make it or not.
Josh is taking his sweet time getting me good pics of #5, If it takes longer then I'm hoping (which it kind of already has..:roll: ) then who knows if I'm going to make it. Josh's truck better be just as nice as Norm's Sy that he just sold or I'm gonna be pissed. Cause I passed for 1 day on that truck and lost it. :roll:

Just cause you dont have one doesnt mean you cant come... The trucks are an excuse to get together and have some fun with friends.

That would be hell for me. I'd rather wait and not see/ride in them until I get it. Because my wife would hear it the whole way home about how I'm getting on and for ever how long it takes to get one. And that wouldnt be good :lol:

Ian's right. I personally don't go to these meets for the trucks, because it's all about the people for me......the trucks are just something we all have in common. I'll be bringing a truck to this meet, but I'd still go if I wasn't. Hell, I'd go if no one brought a truck.

hell yeah hood... stay a few more days and come lay your magic hands on the sy and make it run even gooder... i got an old ultimate piggy back wtih selector...now we can really have some fun tuning

It would be nice to come down there with a truck though. With the way its taking its time, I'll probably have sold my Z28 and got a GN before I even talk money with Josh over the Sy.. :lol:
