Recently arrived stuff for my LS swap:

HIP'd Edelbrock 245cc heads by West Coast Cylinder Heads
Edelbrock Pro Flo XT intake manifold, 90mm throttle body and fuel rails
ARP head studs
CHE bushed rockers (heads also have CHE guides and seats)
GM rocker stands and hardware
RPM LS/4L80e swap parts

Great projects, to be sure. But none of them appear to be finished, or even running, much less sorted out. The Devil is in the details.......

The only one I know of that has run is eviltwin's. But it broke. And I haven't seen that it runs again. I guess Renz's runs. But based on his admissions [pride?] as to how long his other SyTy shit has been broken, I don't expect it to be running for long.

FWIW mine has been finished for exactly a year now,minimal problems,pretty much sorted out to the tune of 5k miles put on it last summer:tup:i am pulling the motor next week to address a oil leak that is bothering me,installing a locker up front,and an E-boost2 boost controller.it should be back on the road in time for the nice weather

FWIW mine has been finished for exactly a year now,minimal problems,pretty much sorted out to the tune of 5k miles put on it last summer:tup:i am pulling the motor next week to address a oil leak that is bothering me,installing a locker up front,and an E-boost2 boost controller.it should be back on the road in time for the nice weather

Any chance when you have it out you can take some measurements of that oil pan, with a ruler or something for reference beside it?

I have put over 4,000 miles on my Sy since december. Ive driven it everyday to work and school for the last 4 months.

There is also the Ty that we are hoping to be finsh with by the end of this month but it will probably end up being finished in April.

is the coolant pipe running to the back of the intake portion of the supercharger ?

that is the heat exchanger for the intercooler on the blower,it goes to a front mount exchanger and id generally completely separate from the engine coolant
