Re: PPG on eBay

I "think" he found the old radiator cap in the engine bay then he stole the cig lighter out of it.

Not sure but something like that.

Something like that.

I meant the the truck it self, but that's funny.

Yeah, they wouldnt let me keep a hood or fender.

It was a stupid NA 5 speed AWD 2nd gen Sonoma.

With a 700hp busch motor

Waaa?? Are there pics of this atrocity?

Google Syclone II. It did the 1 Lap of America and was used for transfer case testing

Meh...maybe. There are actually two shades of "purple" on the stripes. The "blue" looks teal to me.

Oh, and the trans pan that is currently on my truck.... it's from one of the 1992 Syclones
You're welcome for that. I have the injectors, cam and pistons from it. We're well on our way to having our own 92. ;)

I should contact the gay pride parade association here in Portland, I think I just found their new lead parade truck.

Re: PPG on eBay

Owning the PPG would be fun for about 1 month IMO . I'd be scared to drive it and get the paint all jacked up by some teenager texting while driving down here in FL .

"Pump the brakes, son. That truck is a legend!"

Hmm. You may be right. Should be in a museum. Is there a pace car museum? That would be cool.

John privately offered the truck to me about 3 weeks ago but when I asked about the price, he never responded. Had I known it comes with a junk title, I would not have even responded.

IMO, it is a rare and beautiful machine but I agree with Mike....ownership would quickly become a burden. I bought a 00 Cobra R last spring (1 of 300) and just could not enjoy driving it because of constant concern some inattentive driver would nail me. This truck is 1 of 1 and whomever gets it cannot even drive it on the public highways unless they do it illegally OR perform a VIN swap.

My guess is this truck will finally be sold <$50K (if that). People just are NOT paying money right now for garage trophies.

I wish these car dealers would stop writing these e-bay and craigslist ads in all caps......freaking annoying.

It's a halon suppression system. If the canisters were to leak while the truck was parked in a residential garage people could die.
