Re: Lockup? plug unplugged in 700R4 good question, ive seen gm torque converter lockup soleniods stick sometimes,they will hold the clutch on.when this happens sometimes when you come to a stop it will shudder an even stall, like a stick shift if you dont push in the clutch.

Re: ground issue. G108 & G109 you now have the grounds off, it runs find and it doesnt set the codes anymore?

Re: Won't idle !!!! if you still have an egr, try disconnecting the vac. line to it and plugging it, ive had problems in the past with the vac. solenoid sticking. it doesnt cost anything to try

Re: power steering support if you can retain it your probably better off, if gm could save 25 cents on every car they made , they would. it make work without it, but over time the pump bracket may crack without it.

Re: Trans Question Any Help if that fitting is broken off in the case they might be able to extract it with an easy out , if they can get it low enough for a little room, id give it a shot you really have nothing to loose if the alternative is replacing the trans.

Re: trans starts in 2nd gear? help! sounds like the governer is sticking,its on the left side of the trns towards the back. under a cap that is a press fit, you can pry it off the governer just pulls out clean it out real good make sure the valve inside moves free , you can see it and move it...
